Get Lagree certified in Austin.
The official Lagree Level 1 Certification, taught by Master Trainer Paul Ruedas.
Two weekends: September 10 to 13 and October 15 to 18, 2026, at Cadence.
Ten spots per weekend. One machine each. Our founding training.
The short version
Four days. Twenty-four hours on the floor.
You’ll leave with an official Lagree Level 1 certification, lifetime access to Lagree Academy, and the credential to teach at any Lagree-licensed studio in the world.
This is the real certification. Taught by a Master Trainer, in a studio built for it, in the weeks before we open our doors.
What you’ll learn
The science
The history of Lagree and the principles underneath it. Time Under Tension, EPOC, aerobic versus anaerobic metabolism, and the Magic 10.
The application
How those principles turn into what you actually say and do on the floor. The reason behind the tempo, the hold, the order of the block.
The craft
Cueing. Sequencing. Writing routines. Building a playlist that carries a room. Giving seamless corrections without breaking a class.
The reps
You’ll be on the mic at least three times over the four days. Short blocks first, legs and core and upper body. Then longer blocks. Then full mock classes.
Don’t worry if you’ve never taught before, The beginning is an amazing place to be and we are prepared to support our first time instructors.

Twenty people. Two weekends. One founding class.
This is the first certification we’ve ever run at Cadence, and it’s happening before we even open our doors.
Brand new machines, new floors, new energy. When Cadence opens, the first trainers to ever certify here will have done it in our empty building in September and October.
There’s only one founding class, and October 15 to 18 is the last weekend before we open.
What founding trainers get
The lowest price this certification will ever be
Ongoing practice and mentorship with Co-founders Lonan & Morgan if you want to audition to teach at Cadence
Who this is for
This is a good fit if you
Have taken Lagree classes and know what the method feels like in your body
Want to teach, whether that’s here or anywhere else
Already teach something and want to add a modality (not required)
Can commit to all four days, including both 5:00pm starts
This isn’t the right one if you
Can’t make the full 24 hours
We strongly recommend taking a few Lagree classes before your weekend if you haven’t. You don’t need to be an expert. You do need to know what it feels like on a machine.
Where you’ll train
Cadence is a new boutique studio on 6th St in East Austin. Lagree, boxing, and mat Pilates under one roof. We open in November.
You’ll train on ten Mega pros, the same equipment you’d teach on here at Cadence and many other Lagree studios. Everyone gets their own machine.
Lonan and Morgan will both be there all four days, hands-on, assisting every step of the way.
Before you apply
In summary:
Full attendance across all four days is required to certify.
$150 of your tuition goes directly to Lagree HQ for your Academy access and diploma. That portion is non-refundable once submitted.
Deposits are non-refundable. Your spot is held from the moment you pay.
If we cancel the program for any reason, you’ll be refunded in full.
Certifying through this program does not guarantee employment at Cadence. Your certification is yours and it works at any Lagree-licensed studio. We’d love it if you joined our team, and we’ll hold auditions after opening, but there’s a secondary process post certification.
Ten spots per weekend, twenty total. Applications are taken in the order they come in.
